Headed up to Dallas this Sunday and will git Dark Aero hooked up and ready to go. No Lazy Susan belly pan or wheel pant will be installed on this run. Maybe I'll have it done fer the run to Houston on May 16th.
Running empty (except fer spare wheels and knick knacks) in Dark Aero and a basic assortment of tools in the back of the truck. Going up with an extra passenger to drop off and then turning right back around and headed back home. This will be an interesting run to see how everything handles.
Dark Aero will be running with 25psi in the air bag spring and 55psi in the dual air shocks. Estimated load in the truck bed will be about 100lbs of tools.
I've pulled the middle grill block to allow fer the AC condenser to operate a little more efficiently. This will leave me with a 33% grill block going up and back.

April 2015 view...
I've added extra reflective tape on the clear side gap covers and on the bottom rear portion of Dark Aero.

I used Rectorseal 5 which is a soft set thread sealant on the air bag spring fittings and it had an air tight seal before the road trip but it leaked the air out while I was traveling on the road. Gonna try some Rectorseal Tru-Blu thread sealant which is vibration resistant and see if that will keep the air bag spring from leaking air.

Thanks!
I really have fun trying out different ideas and then learning how to implement them.
I'll be in Kemah/Seabrook/El Lago 2 weeks from now...May 16th. We can meet up if you'd like to. I will have Dark Aero hooked up and should be there by early morning. I should be there all day with a late night drive back to College Station just to avoid the weekend evening traffic.
1WD (one wheel drive which is a play on the 4WD lettering you see on the 4-wheel drive trucks) is an homage to the single wheel setup that Dark Aero has even though the single wheel isn't a powered wheel. If other people haven't seen a single wheel setup before, this will definitely stick in their mind when they see the lettering.

just my luck, i'm only off Mon and Tue, with my quarterly job schedule.
hwy 146/Nasa Rd 1 through Kema/Seabrook can be a challange for sure.
around Kemah, this was after hurricane Ike:

Yes, we were living in Kemah when Ike came through. Ended up moving to League City and endured a flood about a year later which the wife killed my 1993 T-100 a couple of weeks right after I bought the 1998 T-100.
Maybe we could meet up fer lunch or something? If not, I'm sure I'll be down yer way a few more times before the year is out.
