Do you ever fill your tank and reconcile it to your odometer/trip meter - or strictly go by your SG?

I never rely on the scangauge .. I always go by my mileage. Which lately has been about 1mpg off from the scangauge.

With my underpowered civic,
I originally tried the slow route,
holding up traffic the climbing hills.
The results were good, but not as good as when I found that at 60 to 65 the results were better.
At the higher speeds, I can coast or DWL better at the higher speeds as I go over the 20% of my commute on some slow rolling hills.
The tall hills still get me back to DWL at lower speeds but once at the top it's better with higher speeds.
The only guess I can come up with is the anemic engine really has to work to get going but once it rolls the aero is quite good.

I'd drive one way and try it for an entire tank to make sure. The SG is probably right, even though it does seem odd. However, I'd double check it.

I'll try it with the next tank, it should make for an exiting test. This tank will continue with 55mph.
