Is that a result of there being more of them or is it because they are more concentrated? AFAIK, hard to count them out on the pack ice but I suppose one could use the IR band weather satellites

polar bear

Some stories from the Arctic have mentioned:
* polar bear drowning as they swim further and further out in search of seal, on the ice floes, which are melting away.
* cannibalism.
* scavenging municipal dumps for something to eat.
* brown bear invading the polar bear's domain, as temperatures march north.
* novel parasites, viruses, and bacteria invading the Arctic, via bird migrations, which share whale kills with polar bear.

That's pure bs.
According to the wwf in 1984 the poplar bear population was between 20,000 and 25,000. In 2018 it was over 30,000.
So the starving polar bear picture is a emotional anecdote myth. Well I'm sure that one polar bear starved to death but is in no way a representation of the population at large.

I'll hold on to it. I didn't get my information from the WWF.
And they all had a PhD, not a BS.

The polar bear's white fur helps camouflage it in its polar environment. The polar bear has two layers of fur, a soft under coat and an outer coat of guard hairs. The guard hairs are hollow and help the polar bear float! The polar bear has fur on the soles of its feet that helps protect it from the cold and ice and prevents the polar bear from ...
I do believe also that the Polar bear's fur is an optical fiber that carries solar energy to it's black skin where it is absorbed.

We're meant to believe things are getting worse and worse despite everything getting better and better. Who am I to believe, Al Gore, or my lyin' eyes?

That's pretty much my dilemma any more, which one is true? And should I care?

Time to warm up the F250 and drive cross town for a glazed jelly doughnut and an expensive cup of burnt sugar coffee

Because some over educated global warming shrills struggling to stay relevant said the polar bears are all dieing you have to believe it, don't question it, shut up and believe it or you are a denyer which also automatically makes you a white supremacist, racist, bigot, ect.

The only thing we know is true is the earth is heading into another ice age at some point. Could be a few hundred years, could be a thousand but likely less than 2,000 definitely less than 4,000 years.

Further more. All this global warming has caused 20 ships to get stuck in the north sea passage, jammed up in ice. Mother russia is dispatching a nuclear powered ice breaker because it's so bad the nuclear powered ice breaker isn't even really considered over kill at this point.
So the polar bears dieing from a lack of ice for what ever reason is a dumpster fire now.

Some crackpot whackadoodles think they can 'cancel' Jeremy Clarkson. As if!

skynewsaustyalia: Ridiculous’ to cancel Jeremy Clarkson over column slamming Greta Thunberg

It's over by 3:40. Then they move on to why Australia can't have nice things. Here it is broken up for purposes of reportage.

Quote:
The Diddly Squat Farm owner, who lives in Chadlington, criticised the young campaigner, describing her as an 'annoying little bucket of ego' for her behaviour at COP26.

He also criticised the BBC journalists who, according to him, 'fawned like they were soap stars being introduced to the Queen'.

He wrote: “They didn’t call the annoying little bucket of ego, 'Your majesty', but you could see they were thinking it.”

Continuing with his critique, he wrote: “I simply don’t get the Thunberg phenomenon. She has no knowledge of how the world works, no manners and no letters after her name because instead of going to school, she’s been busy sailing round the world so she can be mardy and abusive to grown-ups. What she needs is a smacked bottom.”

The former Top Gear host did not stop there, as he also called her “a pest”, worse than a “Swedish doom goblin”.

He said: “Rod Liddle calls her the “Swedish doom goblin” which is, of course, brilliant, but she’s worse than that. She’s a pest.”

Any Volunteers?
