The last mammoths died out less than 4,000 years ago according to science. Mammoths may have lived in Alaska as recently as the 1800s.

Two reasons I find R. Brand interesting: Trying to catch him actually pronounce the consonant 'T', and watching the firewood piled outside his window rise and fall.
He questions the morality of bringing back the Woolly Mammoth just to put them to work as lanscapers.

Ah yes and there's also a "significant winter storm" that looks like its going to dump feet of snow in the Rockies starting October 12.
Usually you don't see anything like this till late November.
Yeah that'll really sway people into believing there's runaway global warming that's going to kill us all.
