Tim did a comparison. There's a link to it under the photo in the first post.

Yup. I just might have to get one eventually. Not like I don't already talk about ecomodding and fuel efficiency to my fellow engineering college peoples too much anyway.
Apparently my car works some sort of magic where whenever someone sees my car, they instantly look down at their own car's fuel economy gauge and adjust their driving style to be more efficient for the next 30 seconds.

We have some prizes left over from our 11th birthday contest. So we're doing another draw!
To qualify to win, all you have to do is participate in the forum as usual. We will draw 2 members at random who posts in any thread in the forum between 12:01 AM EST today (Feb. 14) and noon EST on Thurs, March 14.
Up for grabs:
* NOTE: Only members who joined before today can win.
Winning usernames will be announced in this thread. Winners must claim their prize within 10 days of the announcement (by contacting us via private message), or we reserve the right to draw another name in your place. We're not kidding - we've had to do this before.
Bad news for us means good news for you!
Forum participation generally tracks gasoline prices in the U.S., which means with current low prices your odds of winning are near 11-year highs!
Good luck!

So when is the winner announcement?

Just holding your feet to the fire!
I thought the drawing was at noon Eastern, so I figured it would be done by now

Contest winners
2482 posts were made in the contest period, with the post ID range of 591171 to 593653. (If you want to know what your personal odds were: divide that by the number of posts you made. Your odds were one in whatever number you come up with.)
We used the True Random Number Generator at RANDOM.ORG - True Random Number Service to choose the winning post ID's from that range.
Congratulations!! Thanks to everyone for taking part, especially Linear Logic for the ScanGauge.
Winners: please send me a PM with your snail mail details to claim your prizes.
WINNERS NOTE! Winners must claim their prize within 10 days of today (by contacting me/Daox via private message), or we reserve the right to draw another name in your place. We're not kidding - we'll do it again!

Good news: if you were hoping to win that ScanGauge-e, redpoint5 has graciously thrown it back in the hat to be drawn again.
One more time!
One More Time Contest: win a ScanGauge-e! (Your odds are excellent.)
