Magnetic screwdriver or a normal non-magnetic one and a magnet pushed against it.

My Asus 1201 - the first HD netbook - is struggling with HD video. I got a copy of the Ganges BBC series (recommend it) and ripped it for watching on our bedroom TV last night - too choppy to take seriously.
Annoying as the landscape and wildlife in it are stunning, and that area is a sneaky plan for Mrs A at some point soon - she is Indian.

But the plan for an India trip in a few years is maybe back on - depending on savings and time of course...

Annoyance 1 - Apparently removing Filemaker server from your, er, server means your server is ****ed, er ahem, no longer working.
Annoyance 2 - A client who decided that seeing as nobody was using Filemaker server they would remove it.
If you have a server and its working leave it. It's just fine. Patch it, secure it, but just leave it alone.

A Jnr looks to have falled for a phone scam - "you have won a prize, press 9 to get details". I await BT adding this to my bill so I can explain how I consider them an accessory to fraud...

Coworker promised to take on a piece of a very hot, high visibility project last week; committed to finishing it by Friday COB. Come Friday, having heard no word on progress, I ask him. "Oh, I got caught up in other stuff, never got around to that." Guess what I spent my weekend doing.

+1. My wife has worked every weekend since November except for one half Saturday, and most evenings. Now she has sold something we don't have so I'm having to do so too.

Road test question number 6514263-a.
You live in a house by the side of a 4-lane busy road. You wish to leave your house and join the traffic.
Do you
a) turn your car around so that when you leave your house you join the flow of traffic
or
b) reverse into the 2 lanes of traffic coming your way, panic, stall, wave, restart, panic more, stall again, finally using Kangaroo petrol set off.

You are in a Volvo C30 and have decided to just set off from the side road in traffic. You have spotted a car in front wanting to turn do you
a) wait for them to turn and then continue
or
b) select reverse and wonder why everyone is beeping
or
c) select reverse, ignore everyone beeping and then wonder why your car is going backwards ?
or
d) select reverse, ignore everyone beeping and then wonder why your car is going backwards panic and then set off
or
e) select reverse, ignore everyone beeping and then wonder why your car is going backwards panic and then set off very very slowly.
or perhaps
f) wonder if this driving thing is just maybe not for you ?
