Train conductors who smoke in the train. While on duty. In a compartment with small children. And think that others don't see the empty beer can they hid under their seat.

That would both annoy and scare me. Annoy me because I really hate smoke smells, and scare me because I think being a train conductor is partially at least a safety based job.

In the case of train conductors in my area, 'Safety' is limited to 'Screw the passengers, run to the front and lock yourself in the first compartment when a group of hooligans boards the train".

("Screw the passengers" works even when there aren't any hools on the train.)

A group of kids were being rowdy once when my Gran and I were on a train when I was little. She just leant over and went SSSSHHHHH very loudly. They all turned red and kept quiet from that point on.

All yield to the power of the little old lady.

No. Don't you know that Foglights are to cars what shields are in Star Trek ?
On the flip side... the folks that drive with fog lights on *all* the time... especially those with european cars that have one bright tail light on... Makes it look like they've got the brakes on and one of the brake lights has gone out...

Only a little old lady, or an NFL linebacker, could get away with that one.

On the flip-flip side those people who drive silver-grey Audis in fog with no lights.
