This review of a hotel in Tripoli.

Quote:
The service here is unbelievable -- unbelievably bad. So I stay here for two nights. William Shatner personally promised me a great deal...fantastic view, gorgeous women etc. On the second night I am surrounded by bandits and rebel "rats" to come to "arrest" me. I am completely shakened! I haven't even had my morning martini yet! Before they take me, you can bet that I am definitely going to trash the room and take the soap, towels, and eat everything in the minibar. You can bet I will never visit here again. - Saif al-Islam

Going to combine a moan and a smile here - more smile than moan.

The lawn mower (electric, 20 years old) finally gave up last weekend. I had a nice couple of hours therapy after 3 days of hell at work, taking it to pieces and attempting a repair. Unfortunately the part that had broke is not available so the mower is toast.

On the smile front the new replacement mower was on offer (we have had a bad summer here so garden places are having loads of sales), is easier to use and I have some parts including a nice motor to play with from the old mower.
