I wonder if the diffuser should extend out as far as the aero cap does...any thoughts?

As I understand the theory, longer is better with attached flow albeit diminishing returns. Practically speaking, I'd stop before the bumper.

Well...like any experimenter out there...you just gotta try things out...

Extended the diffuser out another 17" from where it was. It's about flush with the back edge of the aero cap and the tailgate when it's down.

I doubled up on the horizontal part so it would have some support besides the screws and Gorilla tape holding it on. I curved it up using my variable heat gun and one of the roof rails on my camper top. Not sure on the angle...but I'm not worried about that fer now.

This kinda simulates one of those hitch racks but this one won't hold anything...

Gitting ready to start on my rear wheel strakes...found some drain holes I can attach my strake structure to. I wonder how that will effect the diffuser's function...

I'm tempted to install some PVC pipe to my extended diffuser so I can make sure the exit angle is stable through out it's width.

Might as well extend it out to a point and bring the sides in too like Weatherspotter and see what she'll do.

Well...seeing that I have a truck that does truck things...that wouldn't be a good direction fer me. But thanks fer thinking about it...

Put the rear mud flaps back on so I could attach the some coroplast to act like a rear strake. You can't see it but I have a support structure similar to my crossbeam setup with a bolt, thread-all, washers, PVC pipe, and couplers to lean the coroplast up against. It's what keeps it from bowing back in.

This is something I slapped together...I still have to cut a replacement panel fer the right side...11"x48".
