I've never seen a V60 plug-in, but recently I saw a XC90 T8 hybrid.

The V60 has an 5cilinder in line 2.4Liter turbodiesel with 215hp 440Nm with 6speed geartronic automatic transmision on the front wheels. And an 68hp 200Nm electric motor on the rear wheels.
The electric motor only (EV mode pure) is good to drive with trafic and you can drive up to 125km/h. And a range of 50km.
In hybrid mode the electric motor gives support until 150km/h.
0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds = 283pk with 640Nm
Top speed of 230km/h.
Has an AWD mode.

That sounds interesting. BTW it does surprise me that Volvo doesn't offer Diesel versions for its current hybrid models.

It's kinda funny, yes. Considering both diesel and gasoline engines are based on the same 2.0 Block

IIRC the twin-turbo setup is used only in some Diesel versions, with a pneumatic starter (similar to the ones fitted to modern aircraft engines) for the low-pressure turbo in order to overcome turbo-lag, while the gasoline-powered ones have either a single turbo or a twincharger setup.

What will that do for your 2018 target of 5.5 l/100 km?
