Disable downshift on my Previa.? Help me P&G!

Four speed auto transmission downshifts way too easily. Does anyone know how to retard it or disable it temporarily so I can pulse and glide properly? It has overdrive too so it should be a pretty good improvement if I can get it to work.

Thanks.

RH77 did something similar with the linkage on his Acura. Seemed to work for him.

Thanks!

That is so darn simple.

Thanks guys.

Super handy on my previa is access to the throttle body under the driver's seat. I just installed a vac gauge so that cable loosening is the next 5 minute mod.

Sweeeet!

Still downshifting too easily

I loosened the cable 1/4 " but it still downshifts too easily. I only tried it at between 50 and 60 kmh though.

I'll loosen it all the way then see.

I'm betting it's a vacuum thing. Bleeder valve?
