Donor may be found

This is a bit of a funny story (to me anyway)
About 6 years ago I was in a crash. I rolled my jeep on the highway, and it was an accordian. With the insurance money, I looked around forever to find a car. I finally found a 1987 honda CRX (bright yellow). I drove this car for a year solid without having to replace anything but tires. It was incredible.
Then I moved to the USA and I didn't think the car would make the drive, so I sold it to my mom for less than what I paid (obviously).
She drives it to this day. However after 5 years she is ready for something else.

So she calls me and says she will be sending it to scrap. I jumped right in and got myself a donor car.

The catch is I have to fly to Canada, drive it from Vancouver Island and import it into the US and drive it to southern california.

This is going to be an adventure.

Why's it deemed scrap by your mom? Probably not rust...

Hey Braddd,

Keep us updated!

I always thought the CRX would make a great EV or Hybrid!
