Revised Angle on the Kammback

As suggested by Sven7 and Krayzie, we have added maybe 0.5 - 1°. We have also covered the side of the kammback with duct tape, the top is still white and will stay like that for heat reduction.

Before :

After :

Can we become members of MPG Militia?

Returning from Saint-Hyacinthe to my house in Laval, I got 3.3 LHK (71.28 MPG (US) / 30.3 KPL). I used DWL on the highway and extreme EOC in town.

After that, I went to HyperMileQC's house (My 6.7 Kilometers (4.2 Miles)) regular commute from which I got a 2.57 LHK (91.52 MPG (US) / 38.91 KPL) about a month ago.

But this time, my engine was at is operating temp when I left, and I had a better synchro with the lights. I could have been better at less accelerating a some places, but this was 95% good. I used extreme EOC technique with DWB. My ScanGauge-II registered 0.15 liters (0,039 Gallons (US)) on a 6.7 Kilometer (4.2 Miles) commute. This gives me an astonishing 2.24 LHK (105.01 MPG (US) / 44.64 KPL).

EPA : 30 MPG city / 38 MPG highway / 33 MPG combined. So I got : 75,01 MPG more than my city EPA (250% Above City EPA) and 72,01 MPG more than my combined EPA (218,1% Above Combined EPA).

I now understand why PaleMelanesian do 100+ MPG. Joining the 100 MPG club!

Returning from the States, I bought a bottle of Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy SAE 0w-30 and a new oil filter.

Somehow, crossing the border was not perfect...
They first asked me some normal questions, then they asked me to step out of the car.
They bring me in a room where they searched me, and they asked me to sign papers. After that I've returned to my car, that was not at the same place.

I checked my car to see if there was some mods removed. I didn't see anything problematic and I quit.

When crossing back I had no problems, they asked me the regular questions and I quit.

Average FE was 3.6 LHK (65.34 MPG (US) / 27.78 KPL) from HyperMileQC's house to Plattsburg. Average FE was 3.8 LHK (61.9 MPG (US) / 26.32 KPL) for the return trip. Temperature was low and there was a lot of wind. I would have liked 3.5 LHK (67.2 MPG (US) / 28.57 KPL)

Is 0W-30 recommended for your car? The Probe says 5W30 or 10W-30, so 0 seems a bit thin.

Anyway, congrats on 105mpg- that's over twice my best tank. Get those serial numbers on!

Also, you're in good company.
