Couldn't find a rearview mirror that fit, so I picked one I liked from a scrapyard, cut up the old one, and mated the two of them together.
Started adding LED bulbs to replace the 168 bulbs found throughout the car.
Poking about underneath, thinking about belly pans. JDM models lack the central underbody panels found on USDM cars, but still have all the threaded mounting points.
Started mixing and matching battery cells to make the best battery modules I can with what I have.

Not by my standards either, but I think the payload capacity (including occupants) is officially something like 175kg / 380lbs.

I see the load is offset from the driver side.

Saying I would be shocked if such payload rating turns out to be true would be an understatement. I have seen motorcycles with a payload rating greater than that.

Correction - 365lbs, at least for North American models. Two large occupants will easily bottom out the springs, which is part of the reason I've replaced them.
I've taken several long drives lately. The car currently seems to get its best fuel economy in 4th at 40-45kph, at around 42-44km/L (99-104mpg) if allowed to cruise without accelerating or decelerating. I took a drive today of ~30km and averaged just under that for the whole trip.
Yesterday I averaged 33km/L (78mpg) driving 60km each way to take a hike. Speed limit was 100kph but I was realistically averaging no more than 90-95.
