Wouldn't a servo motor on the throttle be a better idea ?

Then you could have a wire from the brake and a switch on the clutch that will return the motor to neutral.

However, I don't think that it would be worth the time and effort, cruise control is good, but a thoughtful driver with a good right foot is better.

a servo would also be nice, but if it jams, not so much thrilled about the throttle jamming.

a solenoid system could also work

and you got a point. I just think DWL would be a lot easier if I had cruise

I DWL with my mom's V70 2,4 (Au)Tomato w/cruise. That thing drinks 20MPG.

Lada is roomy for sure. A Volvo 850's 2,3 inline-5 with it's automatic gearbox. was bit of a hassle to get out

If I can get a job, i'll buy a camper van and drive to the south finland for work.

there is more work, but living there is more expensive.

You don't need a camper van when you have yourself a kombi :P

I could buy a enclosed trailer or build myself one for that.

How's the weather in Sweden?

Did you say Kombi?

Spotted this Westie with Argentinian plates while I went out to buy acarajé (an African snack) in a park near my apartment. While you may be referring to station-wagons in general as "kombi", it gets somewhat confusing to me since in my country only vans are mentioned as "kombi" due to the popularity of the old Volkswagen Transporters...
