Good to hear! Thanks SpacemanSpif! This will come in handy down the road when I go lean burn with advanced cam timing and advanced ignition timing

Checked my SG last night and 3 P0446 codes have appeared in a week's time! Good news is that the vapor canister purge valve has came in, so that issue will be resolved in a few hours

I need some aero geeks to check this out please:

This is condensation on the top of my car AFTER driving 33 miles back home! I assume this shows air separation starting only a few inches back from the top of the windshield. Really don't know what else it could mean!

Would this signify that my kammback/boat tail needs to start nearly at the windshield?

Got 43.73 mpg on the last tank with a slight rich condition at times! I absolutely love this little car

Not at all trying to toot my own horn. It just gives me a lot of confidence to know I am doing so well

Happy I am!

I can say that I am absolutely thrilled to update this thread!

To start off, I just filled up a couple hours ago and found out that I had achieved a new personal best of 45.11 mpg for the previous tank!

It brought my 90 day average up quite a bit as well. I saw that I am #12 on the percentage over list, and 64th on the top overall mpg list. I am really hoping to crack into the Top 10 & 50 respectively very soon!

I also had these beauties come in the mail

Brighter than stock, reduced electrical load AND better for the environment. Winning!

I'm toying with ideas about constructing a rear spoiler to lower my Cd... for now! Stay tuned for developments.

I have an underdrive crank pulley coming in in a few weeks, and I'll be putting it on along with deleting my a/c & p/s, installing new struts and hopefully lowering the ZX2 by 2". I may play with intake cam timing as well... need moar low-end torquez.

The only thing bad during all this is my duct tape holding the rear wheel skirts on is ripping on one side. Easy fix though - better duct tape

Ecomodder rule #199: once a theory is proved in duct tape and the tape has begun to deteriorate; it's time to step up to self tapping sheet metal screws and fender washers to hold coroplast in place.

Congrats on the new best!!! Would love to see you do a pro-stock style spoiler on the back of the escort

That rule is correct! I will probably still use my trusty black duct tape around the cracks I've become fond of the way it looks on the car lol.

Thanks spif!

The style spoiler is going to be a mashup of these two -

http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...34-0-a-85.html

I did an aerodynamic overlay in the thread 'Ground Clearance vs Aerodynamic Drag'. The fusion's spoiler was spot on... so I thought at first. I will be post there shortly to challenge my 1st findings.

Edit: Compared several pictures of the Bonneville Fusion. It is very close to having reattached flow. No post needed.

Thanks to Tygen1 for doing some hard work before me

I have a crazy design in mind, spif stay tuned for it!

Nice work! I never thought I'd have to play catch-up to a ZX2 but these cars seem to consistently perform well...

Thank you jcp123! For a performance car, they are efficient lil' boogers when driven right, and they respond very well to aero mods!

I'm hoping for basjoos to post ^this^... one day
