The aero is great. That's what I am struggling with...underbody is messy on my Echo and the shape of things makes it difficult to get effective pans down there. Think I'll take my supplies back for a refund and give it more though and research...

What's the wattage on those? Seems like an interesting alternative until street legal LED's become cheaper. I don't suppose you measure current draw before and after?

The jcp123 is correct, the package says 48/65w. They are said to reduce the energy required by 20% compared to the 80% output standards and save $4 in gas over the life of the product. How they got $4 is beyond me
I can check the voltage usage between the bulbs, oltamiyaphile. I'll do a small write-up on them when I get around to it

Thank you for the compliment, dirtydave Going Nigel Thornberry son!
jcp123 - Focus on the exterior all you can. I have not touched the underbody of the Ecoscort yet. I am using a air dam up front as a "band-aid" for not having a clean underside.
I saw where you posted on Echo-franchis's build. I think a belly pan such as DonkeyCRX's could work for you. Blend ideas from all builds!

I need some aero geeks to check this out please:
This is condensation on the top of my car AFTER driving 33 miles back home! I assume this shows air separation starting only a few inches back from the top of the windshield. Really don't know what else it could mean!
Would this signify that my kammback/boat tail needs to start nearly at the windshield?

We'd need to know something about the weather conditions at the time of your drive.
The wet areas were below dewpoint temperature for the relative humidity that day,and they'd remain wet until they warmed beyond dewpoint.
If there'd been rain anywhere near you,the air may have been near saturation and a very small temperature drop would cause it to wet out.
If it happens again, and you have a thermometer handy, stick the thermo into a glass of tea or water and begin to stir in ice slowly,as you watch the temp come down.Keep adding ice slowly as you stir until you see condensation begin to form.Note the temperature, this is your dewpoint.
Or call the Automated Weather Observation System phone number at your local airport. They report dewpoint in the voice broadcast.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your separation line should be well back on the roof near the top of the backlight wherever the local tangent angle hits 23-degrees,compared to the horizon.

I cannot find any information on that day's weather conditions, aerohead. I do remember that there were no rain showers around, and that the entire car was coated in dew when I left my girlfriend's.
Notice the sides of the car. They had dew present before I traveled, and when I arrived there was none.
I forgot to mention that I snapped the picture in #62 less than 30 seconds after arriving at home. Would this change anything, aerohead?

I got pulled over last night coming back home from catfishing lol.
The officer didn't know that he messed up a chance for my first 50+ mpg long trip!!!
My face says it all -
He pulled me for having a headlight out. I got off with a warning! It makes twice in one week. The other time was for having my flashers on while 35-45 P&Ging. No problems there, he just wanted to be sure that nothing was wrong with my car.

I did a comparison between speed, instant fuel mileage, and horsepower last night over flat stretches of my route. Being in the coastal plain of NC, we have many miles of flat land.
These numbers are from my calibrated ScanGauge. FE numbers are typically 1-1.5% lower than reported.
Temperature - 73*
Humidity - unknown
Partly Cloudy
SSW wind of 6 mph
Traveling E-SE
Engine temp of 205-215
Results are from after 15+ minutes of driving time
40 mph: 45-47 mpg, 11-12 HRP, 1454 rpm
45 mph: 51-53 mpg, 14-15 HPR, 1636 rpm
50 mph: 47-48 mpg, 17-18 HPR, 1818 rpm
55 mph: 42-44 mpg, 20-21 HPR, 1999 rpm
60 mph: 40-42 mpg, 23-25 HPR, 2181 rpm
