How brave are you? $1200 Prius ex-taxi
Ooooo! A pair of 2006 Prii, ex-taxis, for $1200 each.
And not very high miles, if this is to be believed...
Yellow one: 249k km = 154k miles
"Run well.. As is.."

Maroon one: 190k km = 118k miles
"Run well... just need ABS speed sensor..."

If I were looking for another beater, I don't think I could resist checking these out!

And they're pre-beat up, so you won't even feel bad about drilling into panels to attach mods!
Look at the pics of the maroon one - it's pretty denty!

Pretty denty?
Am I the only one that enjoys pulling a good dent?
Not that I am good at de-denting...

It ended at $311, which was below the reserve. I wonder what they are going to do with it now.

It had loads of miles. I'd sell it if I was them.
These cars are good for a certain type of person; the difficulty is connecting the right kind of person with the car.

2001 Honda Insight, in Oregon, $1500:
2001 Honda Insight - Insight Central: Honda Insight Forum
130k miles, manual transmission, new IMA battery ($1500 on its own), has intermittent CEL for O2 sensor. I'd be reluctant to call it a beater because it's low miles and really clean.

Seems like a pretty good deal for an Insight aficionado.

If I had the $1500 I'd become an Insight aficionado.
