Another cheap Insight in the Detroir area, $800: https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/c...927002988.html

Same year, same price, $800: https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/c...927744220.html
^ I wonder if this one is the same one that was listed for $500 with missing passenger seat and side skirts.

2001 Civic LX in "Phoenix."

All right, it is not 35 MPG highway, but that is negotiable, and it may not be $1,500, it is from a dealer, but hopefully you can negotiate the price, too.

The dealer says $1,400 out the door. I am waiting for the VIN and mileage:

[The ad is annoying, but I spent ten minutes editing it. It was all caps, I do not think that it had any punctuation, and there were other annoying things I tried to fix. Why does it say almost everything two or three times?]

To make sure it does not have one single lie?

I kept checking my e-mail for a response, but never saw anything. I just got back to the hotel and decided to check my spam folder.

Five hours ago the salesman responded that the VIN is 1HGEM22581L108379 and it has 220,000 miles.

I don't want to drive back to the far side of Phoenix!

My friend is saying we can totally check it out. VehicleHistory does not show anything. KBB says its private party price is around $1,400 and is worth $1,966 from a dealer.

KBB also says the typical mileage for a 2001 Civic is 152,030.

I call [that place with silly stuff on the walls]

Ah. They closed a while ago. I thought they were still open.

I know! Supposedly it is in better shape than my Civic, which does not have cruise control, hopefully the stereo is better, and it has to be more economical than my Accord, but why would they charge private party prices at a dealership?

Here is a 2002 Civic with a manual transmission two hours from here and four hours from home, but it has almost a quarter million miles! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...=honda%20civic

Why does Facebook Marketplace show me a "2019 Dodge Charger Scat Pack" when I search for an Insight?!

Here is a 2003 with a disassembled engine. Does it have an automatic? I do not have any idea! Does it matter if it does not run? https://offerup.com/item/detail/712074964/

Here is a Civic with a blown engine and a brand-mew clutch! https://offerup.com/item/detail/712038424/

Laughing at the e-cig the guy is using to block his license plate numbers.
