These are mild days where I only burn wood at night in my wood stove.
Aside from burning waste cardboard really have only fired up the coal furnace twice. That thing puts off truely oppressive heat.

Still haven't run the heat whatsoever in my apt yet. 69 degrees in the room this morning, which is the coldest it's been yet.

I had some product of the education system try to tell me the batteries in electric vehicles only last 4 years.
They weren't too sure what to say when I told them the battery in mine is 4 years old and still delivering rated capacity.

The guy is a forklift driver where I work. Turns out most forklift drivers are pretty dumb.
New Mexico schools did rank 49th last year.
I didn't go to school here I went to grade schools in Virginia, which usually ranked top 10 to 20 and then moved and went to high school in maine, which typically ranks to 4th to 9th.
Which is sad because NM actually has pretty good colleges, don't they xist?

Remember the old saw about leading a horse to water? Even with the best schools in the world, some people just don't want to learn.

I hope you do not mind my attempt at humor.

According to WalletHub, Arizona was rated 47th last year, but during the election everyone said we were fiftieth.

I tried to find how Arizona ranked when I graduated in 1997. I am sure everything changed when the economy crashed and the state slashed funding.

I do not have any idea how good colleges are in New Mexico. I tried attending Eastern New Mexico. Two classes were fine, but I ended up dropping out.

Yeah you have to look at a few of those poles.
NM is consistently in the bottom 10 for high schools and 1 through 12 and it shows.
(Some do high school only and others do all grades)
I would say bottom 5, but I'm trying to be optimistic and I am working with a limited sample size of poles and years of data.

I used the leaf and trailer to drag an obsolete 270lb seized up 20hp vertical shaft well motor and it's 240lb steel base to the scrap yard and netted $35.
That pays for the leafs electricity for the month.
Definitely worth 2 hours of work, almost half of that was driving.
