I hope the Elio makes it into production, but suspect it will not.

I actually looked into renting a Ferrari for my brother's wedding a couple years ago (I didn't end up doing it). All the places in NYC I looked at rented by the mile, not hour; most were around $2000 for 25 miles.

Who does that dead horse think he is?!

"as of this summer, Elio Motors reported having only about $4,000 in cash remaining."
https://jalopnik.com/why-this-job-st...tor-1797854222

At this rate, before long, I will have more cash than Elio!

I would be quite happy if some rich guy sued these guys into oblivion.

Mr. Elio went from a debtor to raking in a quarter million every year, so it's all good. :/

Very long article from Jalopnik today (might be the same one) reported a bleak picture. As time goes on pretty sad. It also said Paul Elio was making $250,000.00 at another job. Maybe pop out 10 Elio 3-wheelers from his home workshop in Phoenix; you never know!

Just a little brutal. I think his hopes and dreams exceeded his ability to market and adapt this thing, rather than any kind of scam
