Shouldn't they have gone with one of those fancy new TLDs?

Yes, the Eli Oowners forum has been around for years. I created an account to comment and periodically receive updates.

Usually people complaining.

I am happy about the SRK, though. I wish we had as much to discuss in that thread as here. I think Elsa had something to say about this. "The cold never bothered me anyway?"

Eh. Good enough.

I kind of feel bad, this discussion was dead for twelve days when I shared the update and we have talked about it every day since.

After my previous comments about Elio going to China as a last straw when taking forever to start up in the US, seems a Canadian 3-wheeler did just that - Canadian electric car maker inks manufacturing deal with Chinese firm - Canadian Manufacturing
I would not be surprised to see an Elio copy on Alibaba next!

China is known for low-quality products, but it just depends on whether they are trying to be the cheapest. Like this classic picture:

The German bike was also made in China.

All that proves is the strength of the spoked bicycle wheel (they're incredibly strong) and the absence of any energy absorption material behind the plastic covering at that corner of the car. Doesn't say a word about build quality based on nationality.

Again, they are both made in China, but apparently the "German" bike has a reputation for quality, and people pay good money for it.

I believe it is safe to say that if a bumper is one thin piece of plastic without any reinforcement whatsoever it is a cheap car.
