Yep looks excellent,
There is a app and a specific OBDII to Bluetooth clone that can give you every cells voltage

Daox: pic shows "Lifetime: 63.3 MPG"
Expecting that to climb?
Still envious!

Yep! I'm sure I'll do a few things. Not really sure where to start just yet.

That is great to hear! Sounds like a handy app.

Yes, I would expect it to climb. However, it has been at 63.3 since we got it. So, I'm sure its going to take some time. But, the worst trip we have done so far was around 95 mpg. I do wonder if that takes into consideration the electricity used, or only the gasoline...

Seconding the comment above- there's a good chance the 120V charger that came with the car also works on 240V (although it's not labeled). Works for my Bolt. Google it

I'll definitely have to look into that. I believe 240V charging not only is quite a bit quicker (4 hrs vs 10 hrs @ 120V), but it is also more efficient and I would be interested in that.

Just checked out the 240V mod to the OE EVSE and it looks pretty simple. I'll just have to get the bits and do it. I like how he did it so you can use 240V or 120V with the OE EVSE, so I'll go that route so I can keep with my current 120V charging. I still need to wire up a 240V recepitcal outside.

Quite curious that a car which was introduced as a benchmark of technology is now 10 years-old, and its manufacturer no longer makes anything similar conceptually-wise.

Either I'm crazy, or people have a mental hurdle they have difficulty surmounting. I've been saying plug-in hybrids are an optimal solution for many people, but EV purists balk at the idea of occasionally burning the Devil's petrol. ICE drivers don't trust the added complexity. Most people are simply clueless about what a plug-in hybrid actually is. "50 miles of EV range, I'll get stranded!".
I don't think the unpopularity of plug-in hybrids is due to being an inferior compromise, but due to the ignorance and irrationality of most consumers.
If we were actually serious about reducing fossil fuel consumption in a battery constrained market, we would be building more plug-in hybrids; vehicles which also don't require special outlets to get a full charge every night.

Most likely those strict EV fanboys hate plug-in hybrids more than ICE users. No wonder I see more hybrids (including plug-ins) nowadays, and I often see a PHEV parked overnight on the street.
