I'll say this for them, they did put out good ads. But they got bent out of shape over who was wearing their t-shirts.

Pumpkin flavor on coffee is something I'll probably never understand why some non-Brazilians are so addicted to

Technically some of the pumpkin spices are semi addicting according to turn of the 19th century accounts. Nutmeg is mentioned. I believe the actual spice is used in stead of synthetics.

As the Ford Model T seems to have a more tractor-ish profile, maybe the Beetle ends up really justifying itself as the Car of 20th Century

Looks like you were up late.

Made from 1908 to 1927, the Ford Model T clearly motorized the United States
That's only 19 years of production. Ford's Mustang been on sale 1964 to today, but only 36 years in the 20th Century.

Yet its influence remains clear to this day. Just look at roughly every truck out there, its body-on-frame layout doesn't differ so substantially from a Model T or other similar vehicle.

Not only it's more specialized, it's also not so suitable to farming tasks as the Model T was

I went looking for the factory Beetle tractor from the 40s/50s but I came up dry. It/they were shortened from the rear so the lower corner of the doors were cut to clear the rear tires. If I can find the book it was in, maybe I can get a Type number to search on.

I did turn up this:

hjustacarguy.blogspot.com/.../marvelous-model-t-in-many-forms.html

And also these:

Makes me wonder to which extent it bore any resemblance to the Plattenwagen.

Not much. The platenwagen had a front loading platform and a rear seating position.

That tractor was closer to the kommandeurwagen. Shortened behind the B-pillar.
