We now know that the Firebird hood will fit without interfering with any of the Prius v mechanical parts.

Reminds me of some of the custom Cadillacs I saw in LA back in the early 80s. Some had a filler panel where there is a gap on your car. Maybe you can use the stock hood and fab a panel.

I bought a second hood in August. I'm still deciding whether to extend the existing hood or use it to make a filler piece. Either way would accomplish the task.

The weather in Ohio has turned. It is alternating between rain and cool. I have decided to give my wife her parking space back in the garage, which means the Firebrid is back in the corner and covered again.
If we get any warm sunny weekends, I'll roll it out to work on it some more. However, any major tasks will just need to wait for Spring to arrive.

Just to take a break from the election results...
Here are some photos from when I first bought the Firebird in August, 1979. These photos are from the day I brought it home, so there aren't even tags on the car yet. The gal in the car is my then teenage sister. Ah, the memories...

Three photos approximately 12 months apart covering the last 2 years.
I'm looking forward to next year!

I really miss working in the garage, but at least I'm still planning and scheming...
