Now where was I? Why do I have so many boxes of parts?
Let the festivities begin again.

You have no idea how right you are...
Parts for the Firebrid are spread through boxes in both garages at the house plus the one remaining rental garage!

Is the Cadillac also likely to be retrofitted with any other ground-breaking engine swap?

No. It belongs to my sister. She doesn't have a garage big enough for it.
My next project, an electric BMW Z3, is still far into the future. I need to finish the Firebrid first.

Who knows what the future reserves for it, if you manage to convince your sister to do a restomod on that ride.

Going all-electric is not my cup of tea, but now with plug-in hybrids becoming more common it would be quite interesting to check if the stock drivetrain of a modern BMW hybrid sedan could fit a Z3.

Damien macguire in IRELAND has been doing all sorts of BMW to electric, but not being a BMW fan I didn't pay attention.

Just curious what is the state of the battery pack? Have you been doing any thing to maintain it over the 4 years?

It has been fully discharged for a few years now. I did some research that indicated that was the best long-term storage solution. I'll be getting the PROLONG system when I'm ready to bring it back to life.
