Been there / done that. I've even successfully paid off the loans afterwards. I know exactly how it works.
Someone has to tell you that taking more money than you need in loans, not even keeping track of how much you have borrowed, and then spending that money for day to day living expenses is a bad idea that will haunt you AND YOUR FAMILY for years or decades to come. |

I would think that leaving a mostly solid mass in the black tank would make dumping worse. No mention of odor controls on the remains which is one of the joys during dumping. Pretty sure this predates the power flush tank systems.
I figure it didn't catch on because it wasn't all that wonderful a solution for an extra day or so capacity.
