After seeing Who Killed the Electric Car I would be very reluctant to hand GM one red cent for an electric car.

MetroMPG got it right - its an 'A' class vehicle, much smaller than the Fit platform.

The car is old news in Asia, particularly India - It is based on a platform GM got from Daewoo in a fire-sales of its assets - Matiz was the Daewoo brand name for the model on the same platform (cosmetic changes made to differentiate, and improve visibility by changing a wedge shaped front design to a more 'normal' looking hood with a more vertical windshield angle.

The defunct Matiz was known for its FE, winning mileage challenges, and attaining 70 MPG US stock. It barely got half the size of engine as that of a Fit - 800 cc!
