A fuel efficient car from GM for 2010: Chevy Spark
Saw this little car on the news tonight. If they make I will buy. Chevy Spark Claimed 40mpg on the news. Would be a nice replacement for my slowly rusting Metro.
Sorry if posted somewhere I searched and didn't see it.

Can you say "Honda Fit"? Of course, the new civic hybrid is exactly like a Prius, so all's fair in copying the copier.
I don't know what car companies have against making their eco-flagship cars a bit longer. Adds lots of interior space, adds safety, and doesn't hurt FE really if done right (could actually help).

First car I've ever seen where the headlights are bigger than the tires!

I wouldn't call it a Honda Fit. More of a Toyota Yaris or Scion Xa. Of the three competing designs, one was an absolute Scion Xb rip-off.
I want to see it next to a Chevy Aveo so I can get a better idea of it's relative scale.

This is an "A" class car, quite a bit smaller than the Yaris.
gascort: this won't be GM's "eco flagship" - that'll be the Volt, at least until (if) they do a Cadillac version of it (the concept revealed looks amazing).

Indeed; however I don't have much faith in them actually producing the Volt. All the ads and hype are going to shift to the new Camaro, and if fuel stays cheap, I bet they give the Volt the ax... or the EV-1 shredder.
