Now they're saying 2011.
Of course this all assumes there will be a GM left to sell them.

Another five-door subcompact hatch coming our way (eventually) is the new Chevrolet Spark, which is the production version of the 2007 New York auto show concept called the Beat. The Spark promises 5.0 L/100 km (47 mpg US 56.5 m.p.g. Imperial) fuel consumption when it goes on sale in Canada starting in 2011.

It's a new vehicle. Not sure if it was developed with Deawoo or not. (GM owns half of Daewoo.)

Good question. Ask the marketing department.

I wonder why aren't there any "Aerocivic" clones...

It's probably the next gen Matiz. GM is smart not building their own line of vehicles considering their track record. It's a shame the way they screwed with Daewoo. Supposedly they had some deal where they were supposed to sell Daewoo's cars on their lots, but they violated the terms of the contract and offered way fewer than they claimed they would, which pushed Daewoo America in bankruptcy and naturally they were there to pick up the pieces. The American auto industry at it's finest.

It'll be a Daewoo in some markets. (GM owns about half of the company - not sure exactly.)
