Not a bad idea for a carbon monoxide detector. I only noticed the smell when I opened the windows so I bet I was not leaking much under normal conditions.

I'm actually surprised that more commuters don't have a carbon monoxide in their vehicles. It only makes sense...but what do I know. I've had one ever since I got my current truck since I travel in it a lot. More so when I started doing aero mods...

One just has to keep in mind that the detector is only good fer about 7 years though...but at least it works!

It is , but the mix of gases that it is in smells distinctive.
