So would "Who Saved the Electric Car" be a sequel?

I gotta say that the people saving the electric car are hobbyists, homebuilders, and anyone who takes their EV to a car show, takes people for a ride in it, and lets people see for themselves how great they are.

Still worth the $5 though. Check with some of the rental places - someone on the EVDL said they picked up a couple of previously rented WKtEC DVDs for $5 or $7 ea.

Before I click on the link, can anyone tell me how large it is and if I can simply download the vid? My ISP puts me on probation if I exceed some download limit (they won't say what it is, but I've tripped it downloading 100+ mb software packages).

TIA, Stan

No idea on the size and I don't think you can download directly. I'd wager it's less than 100 megs though.

Weird about the limit, still.

Thanks for the DVD offers guys, but I checked with my ISP who reminded me that there is an unlimited download period from midnight to 3am ET, so I will download it tonight.

PS - The file is 240 mb.

Figured this is worth a bump, and it can be found at most libraries. I just watched for first time tonight. Wanna know my next project...................................an EV. Somehow, someway, I am going to do it.

On a related topic...

The book is better. That's right, there's not one, but MANY books on what happened in GM during this interesting bit of history of the EV.

Get yourself to a library and check out any book about it. You will be glad you did.
