That's another good example.

That's a good point. No wonder I usually say that feminism is actually the worst enemy of women. BTW once some feminazis started whining because my FEMALE dog raised one of its paws to urinate, until they figured out...

A question, how buy from Alibaba being on Brazil ?
If our taxes and taxes rules are the devil, and manytimes taxes people based in a value much more espensive than what was paid in reality, how to buy for example solar cells that on Alibaba are 1/3 the price than on eBay, like the SunPower solar cells ?

Our customs are also backwards, you have to document what you paid for it really well and present those documents.

Thank you for posting the link.
But unless I wrong, (correct me if I am) fiber glass can come from recycled glass.
But if duroplast it's as strong, as lightweight, the easier molding/shape would be a good advantage over fiberglass. The only left factor is price.
Isn't it flamable or burn easier than fiberglass ?

One thing it's the formal definition of feminism (from old times), and another thing it's this crazy sh... they are doing on Brazil and other countries.
Hipocrisy became a virtue among many brainwashed people in our country.
While many crazy feminists make society loose time and maney with thing like a dog sniff in such areas, or drink menstrual blood, other womens, poor ones, are in horrible situation with abusive husbands.
Funny how such moviments says to have anger from bad sexist man, but when a man is reserved and rejects a woman which was interested on hin, she got anger like the man had obligation to be a dog for her. They get pissed off, like it was a crime against women, and try to destroy hin talking bad for all people she knows, and most her female friends got anger to. It's like for them (crazy feminist of today) man should be a dog only when they (feminists) wishes.

This would really be more appropriate in The Lounge, but I'll say this...
Commies invented brainwashing, but Mark Zuckerberg has raised it to an artform.

That's pretty hot. They talk about injection molding, I wonder if it would be used for impregnating basalt fiber.

IIRC it's not usually made from recycled glass. No wonder the industry is looking out for more sustainable options, such as wheat straw that is already used by GM to reinforce plastic interior trim parts in some of their cars.

Flame-retardant agents are usually embedded to the resin, not to the fiber itself. Even steel sponge (bombril) burns quite easily.

That's what I found interesting in kach22i's post about Ecopaxx resin. Basalt is good for 650°C, so it still falls short.

Are you trying to make a fire proof car?
I don't know the heat index of carbon fiber off hand or what type of resin is used, I do know the next generation of supersonic transport is using this material.

In the co-curing method, preformed uncured parts are placed surface to surface on a carefully made mold, squeezed together with a vacuum bag, and placed in a large pressure vessel called an autoclave. Here they are subjected to high pressure and temperature while the epoxy cures. In the co-bonding process, preformed and pre-cured parts are glued together with epoxy, and the glue joints are cured using the vacuum bag and autoclave method.

Supersonic it's not ecologic, since it uses more fuel per 100 miles travelled. Nice but not eco friend.
Back to solar electric cars, this is the second home made solar car I found on web that do not look like crap :

The first was this (but students work and not exactly home made, as it was a team :
