I will have to forfeit as I will not fill my 99 TDI again before I sell it. It's still a bit over the halfway mark and I won't drive it anymore now that I have the 2000. Anyway, it was heading towards the low 50s at best so I'm sure socket would have me beaten.

Hi,
There is only a 5 gallon minimum, so if you fill it, you can make a legit fuel log entry?

I could probably make a 5 gallons fillup, just barely, but I'm not gonna spend money filling the tank of a car I'm selling. I could probably siphon it afterwards, but I know I'm not gonna make it to the next round anyway. My opponent would need to have a tank below 25 mpg which is just not gonna happen.

Here's the Thanksgiving Tourney Update...
* We have determined due to Tas retiring the Jetta recently that Socket will advance to the next round. Initially, we were going to try to estimate Tas's mpg and have him pick up with a new vehicle but it would be too difficult. Therefore, Tas will have one of the 16 slots in the next tourney. (This seemed to be the fairest decision). Socket's first fuel log entry (what would have been his first round tank) will now be his second round tank.
* Bhazard and his Festiva posted a fine first round tank (51.67 mpg --- 3.99 mpg over his 90 day avg) and advanced past Johnny Mullet and his Metro into the second round.
* Still stretching the mpg's with no recorded first round tanks are Tango (Vibe), RH77 (Integra), RobbieW (Yaris) and Binger (Mirage).
* Socket (+8.8 mpg) now faces Bhazard in the second round. Taco is waiting for the Sean T./Binger winner. CFG83/Tango winner will face off against 1337/RobbieW winner. We're almost down to the Elite 8!
Updated bracket is attached...

My first round fill up will be coming probably this afternoon or tomorrow. As of now it is looking like a good tank.

Has anyone heard from Binger? He hasn't logged in since November 5th...
