General Vehicle reliability-query.

Welcome, I have a question about the reliability of the Kia Rio, Hyundai i20 and Chevrolet Sonata(aveo) cars. I mean which is less problematic, corrosion, combustion, etc... In Europe I saw an interesting offer of the chevrolet aveo(sonata) 5 door and engine 1.6 115 hp and the version of the American chevrolet 4 door sonata 1.4 Turbo 140 hp with automatic gearbox, but I can not find real burning and what speed has the max?

Or do you have other proposals?

Chevrolet Aveos are garbage cars. The Sonata is a Hyundai car. Reliability of Kias and Hyundais depends on the year. Earlier years aren't as reliable as newer models.

I have written badly. I was talking about the Chevrolet Sonic 1.4 turbo with automatic transmission. In Europe, Kia Rio, Hyundai i20, hyundai i30 (American Accent). I thought about Honda but they are free to move from under the lights. I also thought about the Chevrolet VOLT but I don't know if it needs to have access to a charging socket?

Scroll to the bottom to compare vehicles by make or category. It shows what goes wrong with each individual model and model year, too.

The Chevy Volt does not need access to charging, but without charging the battery it's not a very good choice. You can expect ~40mpg on gasoline in one.

EDIT: According to Dashboard-Light, statistically a Chevy Aveo scores a "zero", or "Chronic reliability problems", the worst score they can give a vehicle. The Sonic also scores a zero. These are some of the worst vehicles on the road.

The Kia Rio scores a 3/100 overall, but the 2012-2018 model years aren't nearly as bad, scoring around a 50.

On the other hand, although Chevrolet Sonic has a nice look, the overall American market looks better than the European one. Toyota Yaris can look nice but they smoke a lot outside the city 26 mpg at speeds from 60 to 75 mph....Is the DJ Power Reliability Ranking reliable or fake?
And this is the question of why there is no Suzuki on the American market? Because, as he looks at it, it was in the market earlier years.

My grandma currently owns a Sonic with the 1.6L Ecotec and is satisfied. Previous-gen Aveo might be good reliability-wise, since it's quite popular throughout South America (except Brazil where it was never officially available).

I've never heard reports of Yarises smoking, and that fuel economy is not realistic. Most in the US drive 70-80mph on the freeway, and Fuelly shows an average of ~36mpg in the Yaris, with some reporting tanks in the upper 40's and even 50's.
