Why the images dont show in my posts if I try to put them without the link? I have had this problem since I joined :/. Press quote and tell me. In my opinion I have done it right?

Actually you're posting a link to a page, not the photo itself - if it doesn't have .jpg on the end of the link, you can't embed it in a msg.

Thanks for this info so I need to put the images to place where the adress will end to .jpg. On facebook that is not possible but on my webpages it is. So I will start to use that more then. I like the facebook because its three times easier to add photos than with my webpage software.

If I look at this page
then I can right-click on the image and select "copy image location" , which gives this :
Code:
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/296032_272488572765035_163711023642791_1284909_4084073_n.jpg
Put that URL between image tags
and it'll give this :
PS : the links you've given are secure httpS links.
It's better to use the normal links, starting with just http .

On the U-2 / TR-1 it's used to check for contrails.

That's basically my setup with different geometry. One external mirror on driver's side to maintain legality in California, and two interior mirrors to supplement side-view mirror blind-spot information.

Wow, blows my mind when they could have used anything. Guess a good old mirror gets the job done.
I'd imagine there is fully developed system with an optic fiber tube exiting something smaller than a pilot tube (looking back), which then sends feed to a monitor working in a spectrum range extending outside the visual of white light for night time operations.
In addition there could be a senor plate sending signals to a computer which monitors condensation and other environmental data to predict when conditions are prime for contrail formation. This is sent to the pilot not as an idiot light on the dash, but is programed into the flight computer so the plane is smart enough to prevent said situation. However, it's just too complicated to maintain, and the gosh darn mirror keeps the whole project on budget. I have a healthy imagination.

Sounds like a vintage racer setup to me. Then again in Cali you probably need that for the 405.

I'd imagine that at the U-2's operational altitude, an external mirror offers little to no aerodynamic penalty. It also doesn't break down.

Great observation.
Important to remember, the U-2's principle designer, Kelly Johnson, coined the famous (engineers' credo) K.I.S.S.
