Happy Birthday. I hope Ecomodder has a fantastic year with many more to follow. I've been following you guys for quite some time. I have an 03 Toyota Echo and getting about 45 mpg. I've moved the sideview mirrors to the interior and just installed the pizza pan wheel covers. I believe though that the hypermiling has made the biggest difference in MPG. I've wanted a scangauge for over a year now and would make good use of one. I've bought some corex and plan on doing some more work on the body with that. My goal at this point is to average 50 mpg consistently.
Oh, by the way, my mileage really increased after discovering that both of my rear wheel bearings were badly worn. You certainly would not be surprised how well your car can coast on new wheel bearing......Mark

Hey Darin -- my Mom has a really easy chocolate cake recipe (from scratch) -- it goes together faster than the oven can preheat...

Happy 2 to you!

It has been an honor and a privilege to be a Member and Moderator for most of these 2 years.

From the help of many here, I give thanks to adding more miles in fewer gallons to every vehicle I operate.

Special thanks go to those who have taken the time to help teach a newbie to diagnose, repair, and improve Teggy.

The site has lived up to its name:

...and Mod modifying this "Nut Behind the Wheel".

Here's to many more!

Good job with the birthday thread. We need more threads in the winter. Most of us driveway mechanics have hung up the tools for a couple of months. So we have more time to read/research/plan mods for the next project car. In the summer were modding and don't have time to read all the good build threads.
I want my wife's 96 Civic DX. Her WAF (Wife acceptance factor) (really bor'd so reread the glossery today) is really low so all I've been able to do is put 155/80/13's when the 175/70/13 wear out.

Hey, it's hotrodray! This is the guy who stopped by (!) eastern Ontario on his way from S.C. to Niagara Falls to pick up the 1.3L engine from the red ForkenSwift donor car. Did you ever get it swapped into something?
