Happy Free Coroplast Day Everyone!
Thanks to a NC Senate campain once the polls closed I became the proud owner of eight 4ft by 8 ft coroplast signs.
Figure even if I mess up multiple times I'll have more then enough for a grill block and belly pan.
Anyone else go out scavenging after the polls closed?

Most of my local candidates opted the "cheaper" option by using paper wrapped around 2 sticks. Only one particular candidate used coroplast, which i voluntarily helped him clean up all of his signs around my city.

I nabbed a few signs. The library was the poll, but I went after close (around 10ish), and actually had a cop drive up, get out and ask me what I was doing. Another car came by (I guess he called for back up, just to be safe). 10 minutes later, he left, more educated about my car than before, and me happy he didn't ask about my expired tags (the new ones are in the mail but not here yet, all I had was a printed email in case this EXACT thing happened, which it did)

...around here, the politics got sorta "nasty" and lots of signs were "trashed" (by opponents?) and "ripped" where they stood.
...any good use for coroplast confetti?

Here in New Zealand we just had council elections, lots of coroplast signs around. But because it is illegal for the signs to be up on "election day" (council elections are mail-in, so you can't actually vote on the official day), the candidates are careful about making keeping tabs on where their signs are so no one pinches them and puts them up on election day, resulting in a large fine.
Maybe for the National elections next year, I will offer to help clean up the local Green candidate's signs, I'm sure they'll appreciate the cause.
