I drove through the drive-through to get a rent check. The remaining balance was ~$1200 North of what I expected.

Time to start phoning around to gun shops?

Maybe.

On one hand people are panic buying guns and ammo so prices could be high
On the other people might be selling grandpa's guns to raise cash.

If you are into black and plastic is likely isn't a good time. If you like blue and wood - maybe?

I'm waiting on Henry to offer the Big Boy Steel chambered in .357 with the side loading gate.

I've wanted a coach gun/mare's leg for some time, but that's still out of reach. Maybe the Henry AR-7 or Bond Arms 410/.45 double derringer. Both are made in USofA.

I picked up a couple M887s a few years ago; maybe now's the time to sell them? One's even a "tactical" with door-breech choke.

Back to the thread topic: my stimulus money showed up in my bank account ~2 weeks ago, unannounced and with no action on my part. 0.000001% of the time, the system works!

Black & plastic is as cheap as ever, local shop has complete lowers $139 to $299, complete uppers can be had for just over $200 is a wide variety of choices, caliber, pistol or rifle. You can also spend a whole lot more than the $1200 on one. I'd like a 9mm pistol AR but no real reason why. I need another lower so I don't have to swap the 2 uppers I have. $232 350 legend upper I have and that $139 lower makes a pretty cheap rifle.

"We scheduled your payment to be deposited on May 06, 2020 to the bank account below."

The other day I found out that Northern Arizona University took my application money, but never looked at my application. Today I checked Indeed and a page run by the state of Arizona for school openings.

Show Low Public Schools has a full-time SLPA opening.

I have low-crawled further than the high school and I sprained my ankle and fell on my face on their track, which is at the furthest point of the school. I had my phone on me, but hopped back instead of calling for a ride.

I am just saying that it is close. The junior high is next door, but speech therapists seem to have fewer students as they get older.

The elementary schools are a couple of miles away. One is right by the charter school where I have been working about half-time. I absolutely hate the idea of leaving them, but I can help more people this way [and myself]. I have looked long and hard to find full-time opportunities and this one fell in my lap.

I checked the IRS site while trying to find documentation for the school application. I finally have a deposit date!

I will apply it to my credit card debt.

Now returning to my application, already in progress.

Mine went straight from savings and will stay there for another couple of weeks until I pay off my credit card--unless I get some harebrained scheme first.

Does anyone have a good harebrained scheme?
