1. Each type of projector lens is designed SPECIFICLY for a certain bulb.
ex: hid projector is designed ONLY for hid bulbs
Halogen prjector is ONLY designed for Halogen bulb.

PERIOD.

They CERTAINLY are not designed for led.

Please read this thread to understand. See how the wrong bulbs send uot a completely failed beam.
HID plug n play fails govt test

Also PLEASE do not run 7500.........5000 max....... really.

I think 3000k to 3500k look perfect. The color light they put off mimics the whiteness of a DOT approved lamp, but its just a little whiter than normal.

As a note:
I did run HIR bulbs in the high beam on the Infiniti Q45. There was a noticeable difference.

Back to original question. See products by JW Speaker

The US Army MRAP uses these. GROTE carries the line, also.

Just because they are "pnp" doesnt mean they work correctly.

More watts (too much) and too high 7500.

So you have alot of watts pushing no white light down the road......and the light being produced is all glare.

Consider posting a picture of the light shining against a wall from 25 ft.

You don't live in a snowy climate, so it probably wouldn't be a problem, but I'd be worried about snow buildup on the headlight. LEDs don't heat up enough, or at all, to melt the snow off of the headlights.

I see it a lot with cars with LED tail lights. If they are driving in a snow storm long enough, the snow builds up on the taillights via vacuum and you can't see them!

Application of Rain-X or synthetic wax may help with the headlights depending on the angle of the lights.

LED do in fact produce heat 70% of the power consumption is turned into heat and only 30% light (according to Wikipedia) where as 90% of the power in a standard bulb produces heat. If you are getting the the same light out put from an LED using say 10 watts as a 60 watt bulb that represents a significant reduction in heat output.

LEDs Magazine - Cree announces a new laboratory LED efficacy milestone at SIL

only in a lab so far, but give it time and they'll show up in consumer products while even better efficiencies are created by those guys with labcoats.

276 lumens per watt... just 4 watts would make slightly better output than a 9006 incandescent bulb.
