The Mirage CVT is an interesting unit - it will reward you with quite good economy if you tread with a light foot - though Manila traffic is horrid, from what I understand. If you have to participate in the daily stop & crawl, you've got a challenge on your hands.

One good thing: the G4 has a built-in fuel consumption gauge. 2 of them actually: one resets after 4 hours of inactivity, the other is manually resettable. Unfortunately, there's no "instant" gauge, which would be really helpful in helping you tune your driving techniques.
