Does your butt-o-meter tell you there are vibrations as you drive? Your u-joints might be worn.

Haha. Umm I don't feel much vibration. At least it's not obvious. But I just got it like 2 weeks ago so I can't compare it to a perfect running ranger. What are u joints anyway?

they are special joints on your drive shaft that let it move around without bending. Your transmission is bolted to the frame and can't move, but your rear axle goes up and down with the tires and the u-joints let it move, bed, turn a corner, whatever you want to call it.

could be brakes dragging too....or bad clutch, or worn rings. Does the engine seem healthy/peppy?

It seems like it's running good. It does have a little performance chip wired into the
Sensor on the intake. Could it be that?

Most performance chips/tunes will kill your mileage. You should see a nice improvement if you take it out and then disconnect your battery over night to let the comp reset.

You only need to disconnect the battery (+side) for 10-15 min to reset the computer.

Either side of the battery will disconnect it. I generally recommend the negative side be disconnected first. If you are using a metal tool and touch the negative terminal and the car at the same time nothing happens. If you touch your tool to the positive side and the car a short will occur, possibly resulting in a burn, and definitely a big spark. If the negative side is disconnected and the positive terminal is grounded nothing will happen.
