i don't plan on too many mods, i overfilled my tires by a few psi but that's really about it. I wouldn't mind doing basic stuff.

Did realize the scangauge was a OBD2 reader as well, i'll grab the first one i can get around $80 on ebay, i'm sure i'll use and abuse it!

I drive a lot of highway because i own a business in which i purchase and sell preowned high end electronics from private owners, which means i have to be ready to drive an hour both ways in a minutes notice (it's very much first come first serve). Just between thursday/friday/saturday last weekend i drove around 700 miles.

Get the gauge, then look at aero mods.

With that much highway driving, not aero modding the car is like saying, "I'm OK with that poorly insulated wall in my house with cracks showing between the boards. I'll just wear more clothes and do jumping jacks to stay warm!"

Point taken. Gauge was ordered today, I'll be looking into simple aero mods. I say simple because it's getting cold out and I don't have a nice heated garage or such to work in hah.

Speaking of warmth, for aero mods I'd start with a partial grille block because it also helps with engine bay temperatures & warm-up times (possibly).

well i've still been between 39-41mpg, weather is getting colder, lots of stop and go in the snow. I JUST ordered a brand new scangauge 2 off the amazon black friday deals-paid $107 shipped, can't wait for it to get here. I was so happy to see it on sale finally.

Alright so far so good. Scangauge is mostly calibrated (haven't done the second fill up adjustment) but I've been able to get low/mid 40s city. I'm having a hard time finding the sweet spot highway speeds. There's a lot of creeping up hill and downhill areas but even at a consistent 55 I think it was only reading 36. I believe my best instant mpg readout is around 63-67. Any tips on this?
