Hi! Citroen C1 UK Owner

Hey all,

Been driving using basic hypermiler techniques for a while, but recently been putting in more effort as well as started some mods to the car.

Took my rear seats out as i never used them anyway and also it makes it easier to load stuff in the back, removed my roof bars (but store in the car for usefulness)

Just fitted an engine start-stop switch (momentary on-off-on rocker mounted to gear stick, with two relays behind the dash, one shorting 12v and starter wire and the other cutting the crankshaft sensor -ve connection) and have used it to increase my use of EOC and engine off at the lights

Just hit my best tank of 65.42 mpg (imp)

Thinking about getting a SGII, I've used the torque app before but tend to use my phone for navigation more so it's not available as instrumentation.

Also considering some physical aero mods, like belly pan and grill block

Welcome!!!
Are you increasing the PSI in your tires?
I have a link in my signature about SGII and belly pan and grill block, take a look!

Welcome to the site. Thats some pretty good mileage there. Good job!

A little kamm back on that thing would be very cool.

I did the tires on saturday, all at 44psi now
I've read those threads, might take another look through

Yeah that's what i thought about the kammback, i'm thinking i could use the glass hatch attachment points so that i retain full hatch usage. I kinda need to look at other's success to know it'll be worth it
