The 16ah headways? Well the specs i've seen from various suppliers on the web are just a copy an paste of someone else! Manzanita have them here:
Manzanita Micro
these specs are the closest to what i have found in testing. I would encourage anyone considering using lithium to do tests to verify.

if you get a chance could you let us know the dimensions? They mentioned a comparison to another battery but don't give the actuals..
I plugged it into my chart.. might have to update the prices of everything but this is about tied for 1st as best bang for the buck for lithium.

Well... Reading a few lines further down than that reference, you find "40160 S Cell size is approximately 40mm in diameter and 160mm long"

ahaahah how the hell did I miss that?? damn I must have been out of it. Thanks.
also, unless I'm missing something.. that CALB 180AH (sold on same site) seems like the best bang for the buck. They wouldn't fit on a bike though. :/

Jack, you are amazing. You go from theory to operation in like zero time. Those cells are awesome!
It might not feel as sensitive once there's a heavier load on the motor. It's trying to make the current the same as the throttle position, but as soon as the motor starts to spin really fast under a little load, not much current is going through M-, so pwm gets ramped up as high as it can go in the vain attempt to get throttle and current to match.
Try messing with throttle-pos-gain and throttle-pwm-gain. Like throttle-pos-gain = 128, throttle-pwm-gain 120, as an extreme contrast. Maybe just start with 16,8. or 24,16 etc...

Forgot i had a thread on here for the bike. Controller is now installed and motor wiring complete. Hope to run some tests at 12v tomorrow.
