Bidding ends in 6 days. Only at $1K right now. Would be a great project if I had space.

Hey guys- here is an update at the final hour: Both engines turn freely. I put a socket on the flywheel of the diesel and could hear compression as it turned. With the car in gear, I pushed it and could see the piston move on the gas motor with the spark plug removed. I have a feeling it would take little to for a good mechanic to have this in motion in moments! The car has a clutch, but the stick has two cables and I am not sure if the linkage is similar to a motorcycle as it has an odd shift pattern. The seat upholstery is in very good condition overall that reflects the low miles. The nasty shag carpet has GOT TO GO! Good luck bidding!

If it wasn't on the other side of the Atlantic, I'd be tempted to put in a bid.

The little Honda was loaded onto a trailer last night and heading to the new owner. It was purchased by the Sarastota Classic Car Museum. They plan to continue research and to restore the car for display. I am glad it will be preserved and shown to the public.

Did anyone make it out to that part of Florida to get a closer look? The museum website does not seem to offer any information on individual cars.
