I might have to buy a deep cycle battery to boost my capacity as my morning commute is done at 5am and its dark out, all this p&g will likely be draining my battery down over time.

Has anyone made LED headlights? I have HID's but they still take 35W each.

Looks good, Man. I'll be adding mine( along with the battery charger) after the trip.

It is looking good, coming along nicely. I bought my deep cycle used for $20 off a boater ,who swaps out a the batteries every 2 years.Thought i would mention it in case you are short on money as you may be able to find a decent used one.
I also use a 15w solar panel to keep it a at full voltage.

I made generator LED head lights for my bicycle. I bought the LED and lens, I didn't need the controller since the generator was only 6 watts. I used green LEDs. I don't know if the technology is there for car headlights, there is specific beam patterns for hi and low.

I have not found leds for head lights yet, from my automotive sources the OEM's have not found a way of brightens/heat/cost/size yet.
