How much can a nissan leaf tow? Feats of towing might!
Trailered 1 ton of hay home for the horses yesterday with our nissan leaf. Pulled it better than a toyota truck! Surprized at how little it dropped the range on the 30 mile haul! I was expecting more like a 50% drop, it was closer to 20....

Cool!
What are they rated to tow? Will the dealer care if they see a hitch on there?`
Nice pizza pan wheel covers!
EV's are ideally suited for towing: smoooooth torque, baby! I pulled all kinds of crap with my 48v ForkenSwift...

And you had the grill block in place for the tow?

Oh, I didn't even notice the grille block.
Do you have a thread documenting your Leaf mods?

Crosswind kWh/km improved nicely -- beam reach!
It was going into the headwinds that was the problem. Other drivers didn't appreciate the constant tacking from lane to lane.

Don't you recognize a hybrid powertrain when you see one?
I've got a hitch mounted bike rack. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

NOTHING
But who cares, I have towed 1500lbs behind the insight (albeat very very slowly on flat ground)
