Welcome, Goaters.

I have a GTO link in my automotive history, sort of. My first car was a '64 Catalina hard top sedan that I bought to restore (before I even had a licence). It had the 389 engine which GM took and stuffed into the Tempest that started the whole GTO thing. I didn't have the six pack though :P.

I'd imagine that the manual transmission with all that torque would permit some decent fuel economy numbers from a motivated driver.

My car is making around 500hp at the crank, it has also been dyno tuned plus the M6 Goats have a 0.82 6th gear ratio. most of my driving is done at the freeway, around 75-80mph, i drive 130 miles a day, 15 of them are city.

looking for one of those Geometros as a daily driver
