Thumbs up Howdy!

Hello all,

Very new to EcoModder, I just dicovered it this week. I believe it was mentioned in a YouTube video and I have been reading it a lot while I should be working. I'm really enjoying the electric motorcycle builds.

I can't seem to find a thread on here for how to find a local group near you for some friendly modding. How do I find others in the Lansing/Jackson (Mi) area to learn from?

Thanx all and I look forward to learning a LOT.

Aragx sends.

Welcome to EM!

Take a look at the wiki for some great ideas Main Page - EcoModder

I think we have a member or two in the Lancing area. There are a few in Grand Rapids and near Detroit, I am from the Midland area. So there are not many of us in MI yet.

What type of car do you drive?

What is your current MPG?
Goal?

Thanks Weather Spotter. I'll check out the wiki.

I currently drive a Chevy HHR. I'm getting about 32 mpg by driving mostly back roads at about 54 mph. But I put 800 miles a week on it and would like to drive an electric car instead.(wife wouldn't let me mod it anyways) But If I can't get at least 160 mile range then it's not practical for me.

That is why I would like to look into building an electric motorcycle, I'm hoping they get more range. Would someone please fill me in on what kind of range you all are getting on your e-bikes?

Thanks everyone.
